Just made one of the best curries I have had in a long time and thought I definitely need to share this one with you guys.
A few months back, Chris and I went to the Good Food Show and one of the things we picked up was Mr Huda's Universal Curry Paste. Being seriously busy and then going on holiday I hadn't had a chance to try it out until tonight - and boy, it was an excellent buy.
I just made a generic tomato curry with the paste but I'm keen to try out the proper recipes you can do with this versatile paste - Mr Huda has loads to try on his website which can be found at http://www.mrhudas.eu/
You can buy the sauces here and there are other selected online retailers if you google it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Here's the recipe I made tonight -
250g diced chicken
1 x large onion
2 x cloves of garlic
1 x tin of chopped tomatoes
6 teaspoons of Mr Huda's Universal Curry Paste
1/2 teaspoon of dried chilli flakes
1. Brown the onion and the chicken in a pot
2. Add the garlic, and the curry paste and leave to simmer for a few minutes
3. Add the chopped tomatoes, and chilli flakes and give a good stir
4. Leave to simmer for 45 minutes
Serve with rice and naan.
p.s. I have not been paid to write this review, views are my own. I just genuinely loved the paste.
