New Year Inspiration | #2014BloggerChallenge

Now a couple of days in to the New Year, I thought I should finally kick myself up the backside and get back on the blogging bandwagon. Apologies for the lack of posts over the Christmas period.

This year I’m taking part in the #2014BloggerChallenge and the first topic is all about New Year inspirations – I like this a lot more than resolutions!

Although my ultimate goal for this year is to get fit and tone up; I’ve also been thinking long and hard about what inspirational quote and words I should try and live by and I think I have finally decided.

“You can’t fall if you don’t climb. But there’s no joy in living your whole life on the ground.”

This is so true; and something I really need to follow this year. 2013 was a flipping amazing year for me – I met Chris, I moved in with Chris, I celebrated my nieces' first birthday, and I got my dream job. Yet, I still have so much I want to concur; and being a giant scary-cat has left me not completing them yet.

I want to learn to drive, and get a car. I want to make some friends that actually live in the Birmingham area. I want to get fit. I want to learn a new skill. And I want to travel the world. (okay so the last one is unlikely to happen in one year)

So, here’s to 2014 where I’m going to ‘man up’ and fulfill my dreams – even if they don’t quite work out, it’s worth the risk.

What's your New Year Inspiration?
